Dog of the Week
Male, 11 months old, Weighs 34 pounds. Sweet and lovable, Whale is needing a special person! Might it be you?
Do you have patience and find it rewarding to help shy dogs blossom? It seems that Whale has not been fully socialized with people. With other dogs, he is fantastic and very playful! With people, he is extremely shy. He needs someone who will encourage and allow him to go at his own pace to learn the lay of the world and who understands fearful dogs. He may never be the social butterfly who craves to be the center of attention, but you will surely gain a canine buddy who will be very devoted to you for life. The ideal home for Whale would be one that has a confident dog who loves to play. Whale is currently hanging out in a foster volunteer’s home – ask to meet him today!
Available for adoption at Dane County Humane Society, at the main shelter (5132 Voges Road). Please call the Adoption Center to set up an appointment to meet him, at (608) 838-0413 ext. 145.
